Lip Drip Outfit and Painting
My lip drip painting inspired me to create this outfit. I had a company print my painting onto the fabric so that I could use the fabric to sew an outfit. I designed and sewed leggings from the original painting, and then pulled from the bright colors of the painting to sew a hot pink organza overlay. I created this painting because I wanted to challenge myself to see if I could freehand draw something and paint it. I learned about the artist, Kusama, in school and was inspired by her work with bright colors.

Rayograph and Still Life Dress
I sewed this dress from a still life and rayograph picture that I took in my photography class. I had a company print both the rayograph and still life onto the fabric. I liked how both of these pictures were sleek, black and white, and reminded me of my New York City board. I designed a classic silhouette by creating long sleeves and a jewel neckline. I also added a belt to give the dress more shape.
Lips Repeat Pattern
I created this repeated pattern as an exercise after learning about how repeat patterns work, and creating a basic unit. I used a laser cutter to cut all the shapes out precisely. I adhered the pieces on by using heat and bond. I created the background color by using a bunching shibori technique.
Type Dress
I created this dress to showcase essays I wrote about fashion and my journey in Fashion. This short black dress has the essays printed on bishops sleeves.

These samples were created on a floor loom weaving machine. I created different patterns to experiment and educate myself on the loom and how it works.
Cross Halter Romper
I designed this romper because I wanted to create something that I would love to wear and be a staple piece in my closet. This romper crosses in the front to display a halter neckline.
